Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Receive, store, pick, and load of packaging and finished goods product, while meeting facility standards of safety, accuracy, quality, sanitation, productivity and service.
- Ship and receive orders accurately and damage free to internal and external customers.
- Fill internal and external customer orders including Distribution Center (DC) transfer shipments in a timely manner.
- Build and optimize the load to reduce damage and ensure ease of unloading at destination.
- Evaluate quality of product, verify location, items and count via Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Inspect trailers and report findings via Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure they meet customer requirements.
- Pick and stack of partial pallets and stretch wrap pallets; insert/remove slip sheets, pallets and dunnage as required.
- Perform daily lift truck inspections including light maintenance.
- Perform light facility repairs and assist maintenance department as directed.
- Assist with the sanitation of warehouse; understand American Institute of Bakers (AIB) requirements and assist in keeping facility in conditions that would pass internal and external audits.
- Comply with all WMS procedures; follow warehouse operational procedures to ensure food safe accurate shipments to customers, both internal and external.
- Work with outside contractor on Post-Production Assembly (PPA).
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.

Qualifications: What you need to bring
- 6 months warehouse experience required.
- Previous experience operating forklift preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Forklift certification required, or able to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Must possess effective communication skills.
- Must have basic understanding of First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory methods and procedures.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Must possess strong attention to detail skills.
- Job requires repetitive gripping, pinching, lifting, carrying, pushing, scanning, pulling with weight ranges of 0-60 lbs; repetitive twisting, bending, and reaching of upper and lower extremities; sustained trunk twisting; occasional climbing and walking activities.
- Requires repetitive use of hands and feet bilaterally to operate hand controls and foot pedals on forklift.
